The village of Bensafrim is at walking distance - at about 1,5 kms. It is a small, very quiet local village away from mass tourism. The closest neighbours (at 500mtrs to 1 km) are two horse riding schools that organise outdoor rides. There is a small Zoo nearby and a restaurant where Fado is sung once a week. The cottage is situated next to the owner's home, but positioned in a way that guarentees full privacy for both.
